Action Language, or ACTLAN is an innovative methodology to teach language.

ACTLAN also offers a wide range of workshops and technical assistance for TEACHERS, and can design specific TEACHING PROGRAMS to meet teachers/ students needs at a school.

Natural Progression

ACTLAN methodology mimics the way we learn to speak our first native language as children. When we first learn to speak, we use hearing and sight to understand what others are saying, and then use those senses to develop the skills to have a conversation. 

Students using ACTLAN communicate naturally – particles are no longer a problem. It makes scripts easy for everyone. Through this method, students truly enjoy their lesson and instinctively develop a foundation/core for the language.

Cultural Experience

Drawing on the gestures of sign language and other body languages, ACTLAN incorporates the importance of learning culture to develop effective communication skills. It uses both current cultural trends and traditional stories and customs to offer rich opportunities to raise intercultural awareness.
